Thank you for an amazing Sunday night dinner ... perfect way to end the weekend sharing pizza, the world's freshest, sweetest, crunchiest umami-lettuce Caesar salad (way to grow, Ecology Center!) squash blossoms, molten chocolate cake, and most of all stories and cheer with family and friends.

First time trying this over the holiday and can't believe I'd never been before. The pizza is good but what stole the show was the roasted squash with burrata, balsamic and hazelnuts. Omg, seriously amazing. The vibe is very cozy and good for dates. A little dim with warm lighting but festive with an open brick-oven for the pizzas. Sausage was house made and worthwhile (and I usually don't even like sausage). There was a lot we wanted to try but just don't have big enough stomachs. We almost went back 2 nights in a row. Service was great! Our server was attentive and had lots of suggestions. Gave me samples of wine to decide on. Parking is nearby in public lots or on street.

Fantastic service? Hi pick up for Doordash from brick all the time. The customers are so pleased. There is an outdoor patio as well. Very cozy. The pizza making station is super cool and Chef is working all the different orders. Great teamwork, I definitely recommend the brick. You won't be disappointed with your meal

Time for an update for Brick. Have been going to Brick since we first moved to CA and each time Brick always delivers. Went this time with my son and his girlfriend and sat in the back patio. Service as always was very good and attentive without overbearing and the food was a good as always as well. We split a pizza, salad and gnocchi and man did we all enjoy the selections. The salad was so fresh and the ingredients of the pizza first rate. Brick was always in the top 10 of Brad Johnson's (OC Register food critic before his retirement) and each time we dine at Brick we know why he rated Brick so high. Can't wait for our next time.

Do I recommend this business? OF COURSE! I love Brick. The food is always top tier and fresh+local and seasonal for some of their menu. Thankfully they always have their Caesar available though. I would die without it. Other favorites are their Brick Pepperoni (calabrian chilis on it are divine and the crust is so good). Their carbonara is not typical but it's delicious. Pro tip is to make a reservation on Yelp. You may end up waiting just a little bit longer, but as far as I know, it's never their fault... usually just people overstaying their welcome and not being conscious of other people waiting to sit down.. I see a lot of that in some of the negative reviews here. Service - I love to sit at the bar with Ryan. They also have great seasonal drinks that he will recommend to you. Shelby is also a great server, I love when we get sat in her section. One time one of the chef's Trevor came over and hand delivered our pizza and he was so nice and very tall.

Convenient, comfortable and yummy food. Chef is awesome, bartender treat me to a special blood orange martini! Awesome!!! Loved eating the dehydrated blood orange decoration for dessert! Had a killer Caesar salad and a yummy pasta with artichokes and capers and basil/ sorry can't remember what they called it but I call it delicious! Got in within 5 min of our Yelp reservation. Great service - we heard the owner plans to open a new restaurant in San Juan called finka- sort of a farm to table/ burgers and vegetables:) Sounds like a plan I'm gonna want to visit! Pizzas also yummy in case you are in that mood.

What a gem of a pizza spot! The open kitchen gives a great ambiance and you can see them cooking your delicious pizza in their brick oven while you wait in anticipation. The one key that makes this place stand out is its fresh ingredients. You can tell immediately that the food is not only made with top tier ingredients, but also made with skill and passion. It was cooked to perfection and had the perfect amount of chewiness and crispiness you want in a thin pizza. I enjoyed the service but I will say the only downside was that our order wasn't taken properly. The server was very friendly and tried to correct it as soon as possible but the appetizers that we were hoping to have before the pizza came after since they were missed. I would love to give it a perfect score but the out of sync flow of food really did throw off our experience.

Brick checked all of the boxes for me again on a Saturday night. The casual and comfortable ambiance, the wonderful service and exceptional food make dining there a real pleasure. We enjoy sitting at the bar which allows me to stare into the blazing hot volcanic like wood burning oven and watch the chefs crank out one delicious pizza or plate of food after another. The chef/owner David, is in charge of the kitchen and takes great pride in what he's putting on your plate. My wife and I opened up with drink, she ordered a Hazy brew ($7.50) served in a cool glass and I opted for an Italian red blend. We started with the squash blossom appetizer ($15) stuffed with an herbed ricotta that was dipped in a tempura batter, perfectly fried and served with a side of marinara. These delicious pillows of cheesy love are a great way to get the taste buds going. Next up and the main reason we came back was to try their signature Brick Pepperoni pizza ($21). We had been craving it since our last visit and wanted to see if it was going to be as good as we remembered it. It was. Yes, the quality of the fresh ingredients is noticeable but it's the crust that takes the pizza to another level. When I mentioned that to the chef he said it's because they import the flour from Italy an although it's more expensive, I can tell you it's worth it. My main reason for coming back (other than eating that incredible pizza) was to taste the housemade Pappardelle with Slow braised Veal Ragu ($25). Although I was totally stuffed at this point, I couldn't resist not ordering it this time around. Soon, A HUGE bowl of impeccably cooked fresh made pasta was placed before me perfectly dressed in a wonderfully light but complex veal ragu. Furgetaboutit. My wife asked me if I would order it again. I told her that was a dumb question as I was face first in the bowl trying to pack away as much as possible. The bowl was so big I couldn't finish it and had to take some home. The wife said she was looking forward to trying it the next day. I told her she didn't have a chance and it would be gone by the time she woke up. Guess what? I was right. The staff is well trained and very professional. Anthony, our server, is first class and remembered us from our previous visit. His pleasant and friendly demeanor added to the enjoyment of the night. Overall, I find it to be a lovely, well run restaurant that I highly recommend for an evening out.

Delicious food and wonderful service! Despite a little accidental snafu early on, it was easily forgotten moments later because the service at Bricks is genuinely wonderful. Everyone there seemed happy to work there and you get the feel that everyone there is like family to one another. Now, on to the food! The Market Salad is fresh, light and perfectly dressed. The single size is enough for 2 people to share. We the ordered the Old School Pizza and the Squid Ink pasta. The pasta is unlike anything I've ever tasted! The broth is rich and flavorful while the chorizo has the most amazing kick that will keep you coming back. The pasta was perfectly cooked and the baked bread on top was a nice touch. Our pizza was awesome and had thin crust, which was perfect. Their wine selection is very thoughtful and we enjoyed the selections we made!
